Route 128 / Interstate 95:
Take Exit 29B "Route 2 West." Follow Route 2 for 5.5 miles.
After Arena Farms (on your right) you will take a left at the next
light onto Sudbury Road. Follow Sudbury Road for 2 miles to the
next light (Route 117 junction). Turn right onto Route 117 heading
west. Follow Route 117 (North Road once in Sudbury) for 1.3 miles
at which point you will see the entrance to facility on your right.
Turn right onto 142 North Road.
From
Interstate 495:
Take Exit 40B "Route 2 eastbound." Follow Route 2 through
the rotary past M.C.I. Concord for approximately 8 miles. After
Emerson Hospital (on your right) you will take a right at the next
light onto Sudbury Road. Follow Sudbury Road for 2 miles to the
next light (Route 117 junction). Turn right onto Route 117 heading
west. Follow Route 117 (North Road once in Sudbury) for 1.3 miles
at which point you will see the entrance to facility on your right.

I-93 northbound (from Boston):
Take Exit 36 (Montvale Avenue), turn left at bottom of ramp. Pass
under I-93 and travel two blocks toward Woburn. Turn right at lights
(at Friendly's and gas station) onto Washington Street. Follow Washington
Street about one mile through two traffic lights. 200 West Cummings
Park is the last Cummings Properties building on the left, just
after Dunkin' Donuts and just before Rtes. 128 & I-95.
From
I-93 southbound (from NH):
Take Exit 37 (I-95/Rt. 128 South toward Waltham). Follow I-95/Rt.
128 only 1/4 mile, take Exit 36 off I-95 (Washington Street). Turn
right at bottom of ramp and then turn right again at top of hill
onto Washington Street, crossing over I-95/Rt. 128. Continue approximately
1/4 mile to 200 West Cummings Park, which is the first Cummings
building on the right.
From
I-95/Rt. 128 southbound (from Peabody):
Take Exit 36 (Washington Street), turn right at bottom of ramp and
then turn right again at top of hill onto Washington Street, crossing
over I-95/Rt. 128. Continue approximately 1/4 mile to 200 West Cummings
Park, which is the first Cummings building on the right.
From
I-95/Rt. 128 northbound (from Waltham):
Take Exit 36 (Washington Street), bear right at top of ramp. Follow
Washington Street approximately 1/4 mile to 200 West Cummings Park,
which is the first Cummings building on the right.

It is the United Shoe Machinery plant, a pioneering, reinforced
concrete structure built in 1903-1906 that was the largest
building of its type in the world until 1937. With additions,
